Sofía is a Chicana writer and editor based in Los Angeles, California. Her poetry has appeared in Wind-Up Mice, The Vital Sparks, and Melanin. Magazine, among other publications. A first-generation college graduate, Sofía earned a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, where she received the Andrea Klein Willison Prize for Poetry and was a finalist for the Academy of American Poets College Prize.
